Stretch your muscles gently and go for a walk. This helps reduce the soreness.
Take medicine if your doctor or pharmacist approves.
Eat high protein meals. My go to is molokhiyeh (mallow leaves). It is rich in many nutrients and with beef or chicken becomes unbeatable. Molokhiyeh is like a superfood. I also like chia seed pudding for the next day. If your body doesn’t get enough protein, the body will use up stored nutrients in your muscles and therefore your muscle mass will go down.
Take a hot shower or bath to help you relax your muscles. Epsom salt can be helpful. Heating pads also work.
